The temple will close for the winter season on October 23, 2025, following the morning prayers on Bhai Dooj, which occurs two days after Diwali.

Daily Darshan and Aarti Timings

• Morning Aarti: 4:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• General Darshan: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Afternoon Break: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Temple closed)
• Evening Darshan: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Evening Aarti: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

How to Reach Kedarnath

• By Air: The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. From there, taxis and buses are available to Gaurikund, the base for the trek to Kedarnath.
• By Train: Rishikesh railway station is the closest major railhead. Transportation from Rishikesh to Gaurikund can be arranged via taxis or buses.
